Based on the University of Jordan's commitment to fulfilling its social responsibility and promoting sustainable development, the Partner Communications Department was established with the mission of building sustainable relationships and effective partnerships in the field of community service and volunteer work.
The Partner Communications Department works diligently to provide quality community service opportunities and build a collaborative relationship between the university environment and the local community, represented by individuals, institutions from the public and private sectors, and civil society organizations. This is intended to enhance the center's role in providing optimal volunteer and community service programs, and to achieve the university's and partner institutions' social responsibility. In addition to providing opportunities for giving and donations through networking with individuals and entities that support and donate to the center's projects and programs, this approach achieves sustainable development.
The department also works to prepare and implement specialized training programs targeting various target groups, in coordination with relevant entities, to ensure the development of skills in the field of volunteer work and community service.
In addition to the Partner Communications Department's role, which is to provide media coverage of the center's programs and activities across all websites and platforms, the goal is to attract the target audience and encourage them to participate or benefit from them, and to spread awareness of the importance of volunteer work and community service.
The Department's Tasks:
- Building a network of external relationships with organizations working in the field of community service and volunteer work to provide volunteer opportunities for students.
- Building a network of relationships with supporting organizations to provide financial and in-kind support and campaign support necessary to implement projects, programs, and activities.
- Building a network of relationships with organizations that provide training and qualification services to the Center's volunteers and university students in specialized fields.
- Proceeding with the procedures for signing memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements with entities intended to collaborate within the Center's scope of work.
- Building a database documenting current and potential partners.
- Preparing reports on the Center's partnerships, according to approved forms.
- Preparing and coordinating training programs that fall within the Center's scope of work.
- Managing the Center's official website and social media pages.
- Preparing informational brochures, designing advertisements for the center, preparing news, and following up on its publication on the university's official websites and social media pages.
